I wonder how tight is the gold budget, on normal I finished with 24 million surplus with additional 3 million in Dragonriders and I was thinking hard difficulty was probably what I should have went with. so how do you guys play your impossible games - is there lots of save/loading involved or does it seem like normal oneshotting vast majority of enemy stacks? Originally posted by Yograin:I fought some 400 battles during the game and to imagine I would have to save/load in many of them just to avoid losses doing mostly the same strategy every time isnt very appealing. Almost every battle can be won in this way. When selecting magic spells, upgrade ones which confuse or knock out enemy squads, rather than damaging them.Īnother "exploit" which I haven't even considered trying, is to cast invisibility on a single stack and then proceed to bombard enemies with spells, rage abilities and use calm rage to get more mana. And again, cough, that's why sacrifice makes it so much easy.īasically get disablers, summoners, distractors and other units with special abilities. A lot of quests demand huge sums of gold from you, and if you lost more units beyond a certain threshhold, you may find yourself unable to continue the game! That's why being able to not only win against much larger stacks, but also win without taking any casualties (or very few) presents a huge challenge for only the most dedicated KB fan, or simply a player looking for a "realistic" challenge. The biggest difficulty hurdle with impossible is lack of gold. Will have to see if I can pull it off with a different hero and units, such as Vampire's undead only for the challenge. I agree it needs to be reworked just because how brokenly powerful it is. The biggest one on record IMO is blood priestess's sacrifice which I'm severely abusing at the moment. Yes it is possible, if you think outside the box a little, as there are many brokenly OP skills/unit combos.
